From Playing to reffing: Adam Bicknell

Adam Bicknell has achieved something that no other players has done in the Elite Ice Hockey League, and few players generally manage over their ice hockey careers.

When he took to the ice to referee at Ice arena Wales earlier this season, he became the first person to both play and officiate in the EIHL. 

Bicknell, who spend the majority of his career in the BNL and then EPL with Slough and Bracknell, played two Elite League games for Basingstoke in 2007/08. After retiring from playing, he gave the striped jersey a try and has loved every minute of it!
