Crowder takes 8-game streak into Week 7

Who's hot going into this weekend?

Heading into eight games this weekend, who should you be keeping an eye on?

Belfast's Ben Lake and Curtis Hamilton both have a goal in each of their last two games in EIHL competitions.

Joey Martin's two assists for Cardiff last night mean that the Devils' captain now has points in three games in a row (1+4).

Blaze's Charles Corcoran has scored in each of this last three games, and put up five points over that stretch. Coventry teammate Janne Laakkonen has points in his last three (3+2), while Justin Hamonic has scored each time the Blaze have hosted Cardiff this season.

Dundee's Kevin Dufour was on the scoresheet in Cardiff to extend his goals streak to three games (four goals overall). Alongside him, Egils Kalns and Shawn Boutin both got assists to extend their points streaks to three games each.

Tim Crowder continues to lead the league's streaks - the forward has now gone eight games in which he's put up at least a point. The Flyer has scored five in his last four, and has 15 points over those eight games (7+8).

Clan have three players on four-game points streaks: Mathieu Roy (3+3), Mikael Lidhammar (2+4) and Scott Pitt 3+3) - the latter has a goal in his last three matches.

Guildford's Calle Ackered (2+3) and Kruise Reddick (2+3) have both scored points in their last give games, while Jesse Craig has picked up points in his last four (3+2).

Nottingham's Sam Herr continues to pick up points. The forward now has at least one in his last four matches (1+4).

In Sheffield, while the Steelers celebrated two wins last weekend, they also had six different goal scorers - maybe one of them will start a streak in the Scottish double header this week.

In nets, a strong showing from Patrick Killeen of Glasgow means he currently has the best save percentage among goalies over their last five games. The Clan's stopper has saved 93.38% of shots over that period.
