Canadian forward Rodney Southam is the Glasgow Clan's third new signing ahead of season 2021/22.

The 24-year-old will make his professional debut in purple, having spent the past three seasons at Arcadia University. The 24-year-old totalled 68 matches in USports League, and put at 16 goals with 30 assists.

"Rodney is a really solid, gritty two-way forward who goes to the hard areas and goes hard to the net," said Clan Head Coach Malcolm Cameron. "He’s really good in the corners too, plus he was a leader in his college team. He has the identity we want for this hockey club as a team that’s hard to play against and he epitomises that type of play.

"I’m really pleased to get him and he’ll be a really solid addition to the club. He’s multi-dimensional and will wear a lot of different hats for us this season."
