The Cardiff Devils have strengthened their roster for season 2021/22 with the singing of forward Justin Crandell.

The 29-year-old comes in from IF Bjorkloven in Sw

Sweden's second tier, where he has spent the last two seasons.

The winner played four seasons at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and led his team for goals during his third season. After graduating, he played for two years in the ECHL with the Reading Royals. scoring 55 points in 54 games in his first season, and 58 in 66 in the second.

Head Coach Jarrod Skalde spoke about what Crandall brings to the Devils:

"Justin is a very skilled, offensively gifted player who puts up good numbers wherever he plays," said Head Coach Jarrod Skalde. “He has been playing in a league the last few years that is known for speed and skill, and he has done very well there.

"I think he brings experience and leadership to a group of forwards that is younger than in years past. His skillset will see him get every opportunity to succeed and I expect big things from him this season."
