Steelers learn Continental Cup opponents

The Sheffield Steelers will travel to Aalborg, Denmark, in Round 3 of the IIHF Continental Cup next season, the International Ice Hockey Federation announced today.

Aaron Fox's side have been drawn in Group F of the competition, which is for teams seeded to come in at the third round stage. In their group will be:

• Aalborg Pirate (Denmark, hosts)
• HK Gomel (Belarus)
• Qualifier from Group D

Round 3 of the competition is scheduled to take place over the weekend of 19-21 November 2021.

Should the Steelers progress to the finals, those games will be played over 7-9 January 2022.
