The Cardiff Devils will have trips to Finland, Germany and Switzerland in the 2021/22 Champions Hockey League, after the draw was made in Zurich on Wednesday afternoon.

The Devils have been drawn into Group C which will see them face Finnish champions Lukko Rauma, German powerhouses Adler Mannheim, and Swiss side Lausanne HC.

Lukko reached the Semi-Finals in 2016, and faced Nottingham in the Group Stage in 2014/15. They've never failed to reach the CHL Playoff round.

'Die Adler' have managed two trips to the Round of 16 in five CHL seasons and play their homes games out of the beautiful SAP Arena, which seats over 14,000 people for ice hockey.

Lausanne moved into their brand new Vaudoise aréna in 2019. Built for the 2020 Youth Olympics, it was opened by the LHC playing the Philadelphia Flyers on 30 September 2019- and winning 4-3!

Details concerning the schedule will be released in due course.
