The Nottingham Panthers ended their run of three straight defeats with an overtime victory against the Manchester Storm, the only team they've beaten in the Elite Series so far, coming from behind three times en route to victory.

Scott Simmonds had the Storm ahead 89 seconds into the game, and that's how things stayed until a Nick Dineen powerplay goal at 27:49. The Panthers had a goal washed out upon video review earlier in the opening period after John May was adjudged to have played the puck with a high stick.

Martin Gran dived on to his own rebound to put the Storm back ahead at 32:33, but the Storm could only hold out for the first 35 seconds of period three before May got on the scoresheet. Maxime Fortier's neat finish put Manchester back ahead at 47:08, only for an excellent release from Lewis Hook off a Jordan Kelsall faceoff win to tie things up once more with just shy of five minutes to play.

Manchester had arguably the better chances towards the end of the game, but with no winner in 60 minutes the game was to be decided in overtime - Christophe Boivin with the golden goal at 63:14.
