Tonight, early pace-setters Manchester are the home side against Nottingham at the Motorpoint Arena, with the Panthers look for their first win in the tournament.

Max Fortier's thunderbolt gave the Storm a last-gasp winner against Sheffield on Sunday, and saw Ryan Finnerty's side finish the opening week of competition with a perfect record. The Panthers meanwhile had bright moments in their opening two games, but were unable to pick up any points so far.

Team news
With three games this week, Ryan Finnerty may opt for Stephen Murphy in net tonight. Sean Bonar has been stellar through two games, saving 90% of the 60 shots he's faced - no other goalie faced that much rubber on opening weekend. Martin Gran is not expected to return to the line-up.

Robert Lachowicz missed the Panthers' game against Coventry with a lower-body injury. The team will assess his situation this morning. Bobby Chamberlain logged 9:55 in nine shifts as his replacement.
