Tylor Michel (RW)
New to the Steelers for 2012-13 but not new to the EIHL having spent two seasons alongside Ryan Finnerty when playing for the Cardiff Devils.
Tylor Michel is that gritty in your face aggressive player that Steelers fans have taken to their heart over the years – Head coach Ryan Finnerty believes that Michel will be a "fans favourite guaranteed – fans will love Tylor, he gives you nothing less than 100% every shift of every game every night. He is a perfect signing for us. I loved playing alongside him in Cardiff and know how much teams used to hate playing against him".
Michel came up through the ranks at Wayne State University before turning professional in 2008 when playing in Bakersfield (ECHL) where he remained for the following season.
A move to the Cardiff Devils then put Michel alongside Steelers head coach Ryan Finnerty where alongside one another the two helped the Devils tie the Steelers for first place in the EIHL championship.
Last season Michel moved away playing for Bjorkloven in Sweden where he again enjoyed a productive year scoring 16 goals and 39 points in just 36 games.
