Coventry Blaze and Belfast Giants meet not once but twice this weekend at the Skydome for two mouthwatering encounters.
Saturday's clash at 7pm is followed by Sunday's battle at 5:15pm.
Belfast are second in the Rapid Solicitors Elite League table with 20 points in 13 matches, while Coventry are fifth with 13 points in 11 games.
Within their own Erhardt Confence, Belfast sit second behind Sheffield (12 points from nine matches) and Coventry are bottom (six points from seven matches).
Coventry forward Shea Guthrie is the highest-placed player from either side in the points-scoring charts with 21 points in ninth.
Belfast's Daymen Rycroft is 11th with 19 points and Andrew Fournier is 12th (also on 19 points).
These matches will be the first time the two sides have met this season. Belfast hold their advantage in terms of the head-to-head, winning four of the last six meetings in the Skydome.
Coventry: One man who will have to be on top form to give the Blaze a chance of winning is netminder Peter Hirsch. He has a goals-against average of 2.90 in 16 games this season and a save percentage of 91.9%. Hirsch has iced for 973 minutes and faced 578 shots, saving 531 of them.
Belfast: The Giants recently welcomed back another of last year's title-winning side as d-man Jeff Mason returned to the club. He was a stand-out defenceman last season and there is no reason to suggest he won't do the same this campaign.
