There will be one absentee from the Vipers lineup this weekend after the club learnt starting goalie Charlie Effinger has not yet received his passport back from the US authorities after the granting of his visa to travel to the UK.
The paperwork was processed in good time, and a tentative flight schedule would have had Effinger in Newcastle this afternoon, however the all-important passport has not yet arrived.
"I've spoken to Charlie and he is as gutted as I am," said coach Danny Stewart. "He received word that his visa was granted and on the back of that we looked at his flight options.
"Charlie is packed and ready to leave at the drop of a hat, however until his passport comes back he can't go anywhere.
"We're in constant touch with Charlie so that when he gets the passport we can get him on the first available flight over here."
All of the other ten new recruits have safely arrived, with Pole Jaroslaw Rzeszutko the last to arrive today. The team are on the ice tonight and tomorrow morning before the weekend's home and away challenge games with Edinburgh.
Tickets for Saturday's home game are available from the club at www.vipershockey.co.uk/shop or at the box office on the night of the game.
Face off on Saturday is 7.00pm.
