Cardiff Devils forward Mac Faulkner has won the Rapid Solicitors Player of the Month award for October.
The 29-year-old Canadian joined the Devils in the summer after three seasons in Italy.
Faulkner has also played in the American Hockey League and East Coast Hockey League in North America.
He currently leads the League's goalscoring charts with 16 goals in 18 matches, four ahead of second-placed Matt Francis (Nottingham Panthers), and he also leads the League in points with 28.
The forward has led the charts since the start of the season and last month scored vital goals for the Devils as they climbed to fourth in the Elite League table.
Faulkner, who was short-listed for September's award, said: "I am thrilled to have won this award but it is as much for my team-mates as it is for me.
"I would not be at the top of the scoring charts if it wasn't for them. My team-mates have been fantastic and it has been a pleasure to play alongside them.
"We have an excellent team in Cardiff and we are really competing night after night.
"I am loving my time in Cardiff. It is a great city and everyone has been so welcoming.
"We are looking forward to the arrival of Paul Bissonnette from the NHL. He will be a fantastic addition to our roster."
